E REFLECTON OF MAN IS SOUL- THE SPIRIT OF GOD

THE REFLECTON OF MAN IS SOUL- THE SPIRIT OF GOD

The divine plane that is the organization of our body establishes perfectly and very elaborately. It is up to us how much we can read and understand the philosophy behind the organization of our body plane. What is the need of this creation, and what are its constituents.

When the soul enters in to the womb of his mother (matter) which will be omnipotent, very conscious and fully aware of the fact of being come to this world at the time the sperm and ovum unites. This fact is not essentially in human beings, but could be applied to any beings. However the original seat of that cell remains constant at medulla oblongata which is the gate way through which the king soul (lord Krishna) enters to guide us and so also the bodily king soul (ego) to rule the body kingdom. In this seat of life is the first expression of the incarnate soul’s fine perceptions, imprinted with its karmatically designed pattern of the various phases of life to come. The faculty of soul is guided by the miraculous Prana (life force) or intelligent which is the creative life force. This soul develops zygote through the embryonic and fetal stages in to human body.

The creative faculties of this soul has two natures one astral other casual, natural. The soul after entering in to the primitive cell of life it will have two stable bodies. One in casual and which is encased in an astral form. This casual body is the cause of other two souls encased in several thoughts from which the astral body is formed. The astral body itself has so many elements and so also the physical body.

The some forms of the astral body are intelligence, feeling, mind, ego, and the five elements of knowledge, i.e. the insight, hearing, smell, taste and sound. The five instruments of action i.e provocative, create, talk, walk, and physical exercise. The five instruments of prana are crystallizing, assimilation, elimination, metabolizing and circulatory functions of physical body.

Some of the nineteen powers of astral body are what build, maintain, and enliven the gross physical form. The centers of life and conscious from which these powers function are the astral brain and the astral cerebrospinal axis (sushumna) containing six sub tile centers or chakras. These are located at medulla in spine, cervical opposite to throat, dorsal opposite to heart, lumbar opposite to naval, sacral opposite to generative organs or coccygeal at the base of the spine.

THE NIGHTLY INTROSPECTION

THE NIGHTLY INTROSPECTION

Every night before they go to bed introspect themselves what actions did they do?

Who won the battle in the battle field of that day? The evil forces out side or the divine forces with in him? His bodily pleasures or mental divine pleasures? The psychological pleasures or his deep meditating pleasures? His bodily psychological valor or mental vigor? His appetite of reaching to divinity is fulfilled or not? If not what and where he went wrong? If his mental divinity is strong, then he will try to over come the next day. He should not allow the unwanted willing forces to win the wrong doings of that day should not occur or repeat. Now tell me “ What DID THEY DO? (the very first question asked by Dhrtarastra to Sanjay to know what did his off springs do in the battle field) So also we have to.

The Yogi after deep meditation receives right signals from the cosmic force and get concentrated at the cerebrospinal axis. Then he introspects who won, the signals received from cosmic souls or the bodily sensory actions which are eager to battle with. The mental sense faculties try to pull the acquired conscious out ward and the children of ego try to reclaim the inner king dom. WHAT DID THEY DO? Who won on that day?

The ordinary man, skirmish or conflict minded – scarred beleaguered (harassed) struggler also faces the same battle every minute, day and night. But his improper training does not understand the game rule of battle field. The strategy developed in the battle field.

Thus knowledge is necessary. And the so acquired knowledge increases his victories and lessens the bewildering defeats.

The great war of Kurukshetra also the same as the battle field in our daily life. The noble souls Pandavas led by the King soul Lord Krishna and the evil souls Kauravas were lead by the bodily king soul Bhishma (the soul of ego). When the evil king Dhritarashtra, his sons and his companions, the evil internal forces cleverly took away, the kingdom of Pandavas and banished them to exile.

The kingdom of body and mind righteously belongs to the King soul (Krishna) and his noble subjects of virtuous tendencies. But the bodily King soul Ego (Bhishma) and his kinsmen who were wicked, ignoble tendencies cunningly stolen the throne of Pandavas. When the king soul arises to reclaim his territory, the body and mind became a battle field.

How king soul rules over his bodily kingdom, looses and then regains, is the essence of Bhagavat Gita. Let us fall but the right king soul directs us to go in to the right path and if we follow him we are the winners of the battle.

THE INNER AND OUTER CONFILCTS REINCARNATION OF HUMAN BEINGS.

THE INNER AND OUTER CONFILCTS REINCARNATION OF HUMAN BEINGS.

From the time of surrendering the previous births, before his reincarnation and after reincarnation the human soul had to face so many inner and outer conflicts. Innumerable battles inside and out side. When he is in the mother’s body, or outside his mother’s body, right from the day one he has to struggle and live with conflicts- both internally and outwardly- biological, hereditary, bacteriological, psychological, climatic, social, ethical, racial, communal, religious, political, metaphysical, and beyond this sociological and so on and so forth. During this course of conflicts some times victorious and some times defeats. Whether victorious or defeat a momentary (not talking about time) pleasure or displeasure is ensured.

The whole intent of Gita is to establish - Dharma - within and outside and reunion with the king soul Krishna from where he had come and is very much within him. Realizing in true self, ever existing, ever conscious, ever new bliss of spirit.

In every re-incarnation, the soul has to fight with other souls to enter in to the womb of a mother. If the soul is pure, a bright star twinkles in the sky and shows the direction to the true soul and its path. The soul also has to catch the path, as the other souls also tries to catch the path, but one among the true soul become victorious when they unite with the sperm and ovum die.

In each incarnation, the past karma works itself out partly through hereditary soul.

The hereditary souls also try to catch their hereditary soul and try to help them in entering in to the right mother’s womb. It depends on the past karma of not only the new soul but their hereditary souls. The self created influence i.e formations of past karma play an important role in reincarnation.

Within mother’s womb the cell gradually grows, takes a shape, but do not forget its past karma for some time, the child has to struggle inside the mother’s womb against deceases, dark ness, periodical feelings of limitations, and frustration and helplessness. As an unborn child remembers its past karma, gradually forgets its greater freedom of expression during its astral sojourn. It has to face its karma. According to the influence of past karma, good or ill formation of the body in which it is now a resident. These are the internal conflicts. Now simultaneously the inner child has to face the outer conflicts also which are additional. It encounters the vibratory influences that reach it from outside-environmental and actions of the mother, external sounds and sensations, vibrations of love and hate, peace and anger.

After the child is born, now its struggle starts in a new dimension, for necessary comforts, wants, likings, disliking, fear of survival and so and so forth. At the same time the most important factor is its relative opposing helplessness of its immature bodily instrument.

The Childs first conflicting struggle starts when he chooses to be in good or bad company. If the soul is pure and about to search for the king soul Lord Krishna, he desires to be calm, and tries to acquire a systematic training If the soul is a bad or evil, it shows its tendencies from the beginning tries to be cheerful and play endlessly. Then for both gradually more serious battle starts forced upon them by karmic instincts from within, bad or good company and environment from without.

The youth finds himself suddenly with worldly pleasures, beauties, lusts, sex, temptations, greed, power, easy money earnings but of course questionable means, pressure from the company that he keeps and finally the society. But the helpless youth does not find any weapon of wisdom with which he can fight the invading armies of worldly experiences.

If the youth fails to use his inner warnings given by the cosmic soul leads to misery, making desires, destructive habits, failures, ignorance, disease ad un happiness.

However some youth will know the devastations that are going to occur, helplessly realize the sad ruin of their lives. The psychological conflicts for health, rich, prosperity, self control and wisdom have to be started a new day in order for man to advance towards victory, reclaiming inch by inch, the territory of the soul occupied by ignorance.

However, a yogi an awakened man is confronted not only with internal battles fought by all means but also within the internal clash between the negative forces of restlessness arising from manasa or sense consciousness ad the positive power of his desire and efforts to meditate, when he tries to re-establish himself in the soul inner spiritual kingdom the subtle center of life and divine consciousness in the spine and brain.

THE GENEALOGY OF KURUS AND PANDUS.

THEIR NATUAL ELEMENTS.

The great epic Mahabharata was written by Veda Vyasa who him self was responsible for his own criterion. It cannot be read as a novel or an epic or Upanishad but it interprets how our body is related to the various characters and scenes that we live in.

When the humans were living in a barbaric stone age many testaments and treatises proved that the Hindu civilization was in its peak both spiritually and materially. That age was considered to be the golden age and it was in its pinnacle. Dating back to 6,700 B.C, the Hindu civilization followed for many thousands of years. Indian civilization which had scriptural literature lists many generations of kings and sages lived prior to the events that are the main subject of Mahabharata. Though in this blog I was mentioning about Hindu or Indian, in my research I never found these words during or before the period of Mahabharata. In the later stages these two words had originated. But for connivance sake at so many places I am compelled to use these two words other wise I could not complete.

Though the dynasty kaurava was not dated let me start the GENEALOGY of kurus and pandus start with the king SHANTANA or SHANTANU who represents Parabrhman for the Kuru Dynasty. He was the God father of the creation of this great epic.

The great Epic Mahabharata was written by Veda Vyasa who was also a part of the great Epic and lived in that age, played his role but without any much involvement in the Story. He wrote this Epic and depicted how human body or this human world can be attributed to the characters of this great Epic and how their attitudes can be interpreted is so marvelous, subjective and exemplary.

The king Shantanu had two wives

Ganga Mata who came to this earth to give birth to the Ashta Vasus who committed a sin of stealing a cow belonging to Vasista. Due his curse they were to born on earth. On their prayer Ganga accepts them to conceive those as children and send those back to their original respective places immediately after their birth so that their souls would be purified and get rid of the sin that they had committed, except one, who had to live on this earth because among all the eight (Ashta) Vasus, he was the big sinner.

The eight Vasus are:Apa – water, Soma - the moon, Dhara - the earth, Anila – wind, Anala – fire, Prabhasa dawn Pratyusa – light and
Dhruva - the North Star remained on earth because he was the main person who stole the cow at the behest of his wife and the other seven though not willing but accepted hence they were forced to be born on earth. As they have to perform their regular duties without which nature stops functioning Ganga Mata accepted to conceive them as her children and sent them back immediately after their birth.

Ganga represents the Chaitanya who was conscious that what she was doing. She represents the nature as intelligence or MAHA PRAKRITI, OR MAHA ENERGY.

SATYAVATI another name of her was Gandhakali. a daughter of fisher man beautiful as nature but flavors foul, the smell of fishes( represents that fishes never wets) (represents detachment with matter but still it is matter, the theory of duality) was the second wife Shantanu – a primordial in nature represents MATTER where as Ganga Mata (mother) represents Energy. So energy and matter existed at the same time but in different forms to play their role. Depending on their attitudes and behavior, their children had to act accordingly.

Ganga perhaps a holy Ghost as said earlier gave birth to eight children, who were physiological children- representing Kutastha Chaitanya. And representing six governing intelligent elements and ahamkaras coupled with universal ego. Among the eight, the eight one was the highest egoist, hence herd his wife’s words to steal the cow, and has to face the birth in this earth (the seventh one) for long time. This one was Devavrata later took the title Bhisma because of the oath he took “not to marry for ever. He has to live till his ego vanishes and learns what PARAMA – ATMA IS: THE GREAT LORD KRISHNA.

Where as Satyavati, though representing primordial matter gave birth to three Psychological children (as Ganga gave) In her maidenhood she had a son by Parasara, named Krishna Dwaipayana Vyasa, later known as Veda Vyasa because he has comprehended Vedas, or separated them in to four Vedas, who was conscious (as Ganga) but with relativity and had the capacity to discriminate power to discern different ion (Dissimilar). He was the one who can read matter and energy separately and unified (The theory of relativity)

The second son of Satyavati- Chitrangada, who was Mahatatva or Maha jnani or a devine primordial nature of matter as his mother is, later slay by Gandhrvas.

The third son Vichitravirya a Devine Ego whereas Bhisma was universal ego. He married the two daughters of the king of Kasi, named Ambika and Ambalika. But Vichitravirya died childless. Hence kuru dynastry would have been ended.

Krishna Dwaipayana Vyasa on the request of mother Satyavati had to engage Ambika, who was negative, proud, the widowed wives of Vichitravirya.

Vyasa engaged with Ambika, and she could give birth to Dhritarashtra. Though he represents, manasa, who expressed occasionally, but a blind sense of mind. He was also born blind. Because of Ambika who was not interested in getting engaged to Vyasa.

The second engagement of Vyasa was with Ambalika, who represents positive, obedient, whole heartedly accepted Vyasa but became pale. She belongs to faculty of positive, discriminative, intelligent, hence could birth to a child Pandu, Because of his mother’s paleness who represents Buddhi, the pure discriminating intelligence, latter restarted his own clan disowning Kuru clan, hence his children are Pandavas, the sons of Pandu.

Satyavati once again sends Vyasa to Ambika’s bed again, to ensure that there would be children; she placed her maid-servant instead in her bed. The dutiful maid-servant was not frightened. Hence her son was not born flawed like his half-brothers. Thus, Vidura was born who was raised as brother of Dhritarashtra and Pandu.

Dhritarashtra’s first wife Gandhari who was power desirous where as his second wife Vaishya who has attachments with desires.

Pandu- the first wife was Kunti – the power of dispassion and his second wife was Madri- the power of attachments to dispassion. Look at the second wives of both Dhrtarastra and Pandu both have material attachments. Where as their wives are power mongers. If one was desirous and the second one was dispassion.

Gandhari gave birth to Duryodhana, vigorous, desires, valor, power monger as his mother is and the villain of Mahabharata. Gandhari gave birth to another 99 children along with lone girl child Dussala. The 99 brothers were only sense ten-dents.

Vaishya gave birth to Yuyutsu – the desire to give physiological battle only. Yuyutsu, in fact he was born to a maid, but he was younger to Duryodhana, and elder to dushashan...Duryodhana, Dushshaasan, Vikarn, Dussah, Duragrah and others including Yuyutsu...Dussahana,Dussalan were some names among the 100 brothers.

Pandus two wives Kunti, also called Pritha, and Madri. Pandu was childless. So Kunti raised up offspring upon the wishes of Pandu. By Dharmaraju (Yama) she had Yudhishthira; A vibratory ether element.

by Maruta, (Vayu) Bhima: A vibratory air or life force element – vayu tatva.

and by Sakra, or Indra Arjuna. Was raised- a vibratory fire element. Tejas tatva

On Madri were raised by the twin Aswins, the twins Nakula: a Vibratory water element. Aptattva

and Sahadeva. A vibratory earth element. Kshiti tatva

These five became well known as the Pandavas. Pandu and Madri died.

Intentionally the birth of Karna the first brother of Pandavas, born to Kunti when she is in her maidenhood is omitted. It may be analyzed in my next blog.

So all five elements have come to earth along with Lord Krishna the universal pervade and protector of dharma. Along with good evil spirits have also come to this world to teach us how dharma is to be performed by all of us living in this worldly society.

Now to energizing these five elements and to give the necessary prana to them Kundalini had to be awakened. So the Kula Kundalini the coiled life force that energize spinal chakras in DRUPADI the daughter of king Dhrupad.

Your ever lasting youthful ness

The kingdom of god is now where. Is he present in the dark clouds at a specially designated point where we cannot locate him? No he is omnipresent. He is very much with in you. But you have to search him whole heartedly. But why to search when he is very much with in you To get peace to get rid of these worldly needs. He is present the dark ness available in you, you can find him when you open your eyes partially and concentrate slightly above the origin of your nose, the mid point of your two eyes, when the two eye balls are brought close together. In that darkness, search for him. It is an inevitable universal law if dark ness is inevitable brightness shall also be inevitable because they both are the two sides of the coin. It is up to you which side you want to see. If you find dark ness very simple turn the coin but do not toss. Then why to wait turn the coin. God is the energy readily available within you. At this point of discussion that we should recollect the incarnation of Lord Vishnu in the form of “Vamana” the dwarf man who rose to the altitudes beyond a point where he himself could not find a place to put his feet and compelled to ask the Maharaja Bali were to put his third feet. So in what way we are less we can also raise to such altitudes. So do not get disturbed with the deeds and the thoughts that you do and get. Try to over come. Search for the energy which is abundantly available with in you.

Do not forget God in very conscious unlike us. Feel the presence of him and enjoy the joy which itself is omnipresent, omni vibrant. The kingdom of god is beyond the gross vibratory boundaries of matter which is endless. His constant vigilant, conscious, blissful nature, which is eternal and bond less always directs us in the right direction. But we must be ready to receive his orders. You can be united in that spirit of god only when your soul is expanded and feel its presence every where.

We bow our head before the altar of peace, within us with calm mind far from our thoughts and surroundings. Then…….

In spite of our demonstrations of ignorance, god still helps us through out our life by his indwelling presence. His presence can be felt dead wood as well as in blooming buds of flowers, birds and animals. Then why not with in us? He himself tries to find what he is in himself during his deep meditation, knowing full well what he is but still ….

In the good olden days the Rishis (saints) in their deep meditation used to research and un reveled the mysteries that are hidden in this beautiful nature in which you are also a part and parcel. If we practice their research, which are very valuable techniques and methods that can tune your body, soul and mind, can awaken the intelligence that is there very much with in you. By concentrating within on this infinite, you can receive an abundant energy and power. Then you never say that alone and aloof from any thing and any where. When every thing is there with in you then how you can claim that you are aloof and alone, awake the energy with in you. You will receive an abundant energy.

Knowledge acquired from readings and listening to the sermons from saints surely helps us to take a directed path but it is limited. But from the infinite the unlimited power of wisdom can be had.

First of all you should know the reason of your existing. If you know then you will always youthful.d

What is your existence

What is your existence?

It is unwise and unworthy to live without being known that what you are why you have come here. Ad what for you come and where you going. You have not come to this world by your self and on your own accord. You have been sent by god. To forget god is to miss the whole point of your existence. If you see him or experience him, look at the time how much your have gained. Possessing material things and prosperity does not safe guard you on the day of sorrow. When you feel totally helpless ness, where you’re a mere pawn of destiny then you will try to realize the presence of god alone can give security and protection. He does not want to impose any thing on any body. You must take initiative to seek him through your fervent desire preferring him to all other desires. You know swan swims in dirty water but its wings are unsoiled. So you look at the life like this. The dew drops on the lotus are formed from see water, floats freely on the leaf and after some time vanishes and amalgamates in thin air (water). So you are too. Try to unite with god and return to god. You become immortal. Even if we are detached from material life it self is not sufficient, our constant struggle should be to manifest as much as possible our essential divine immortality. If you coat your mind with the oil of nonattachment, then material desires cannot cling to you. So also we evaporate in eternal bliss or in to the cosmic conscious god, leaving all the material things which we possess after a lot of struggle. Birth and death are inseparable. The death is only to reach to the higher stages provided you know what you are and if your deeds are in accordance with the rule of nature and god. Birth is only return to the god. When we are separated from the eternal sea our aim should be to manifest as much as possible our essential divine immortality. How to express our inmate immortality in spite of a category limitation is the purpose of our subject on making youth fullness more lasting.

The different states of mind.

The different states of mind.

The mental state of a being can be classified in happiness, sorrow, indifference, and peace and true joy. We know the tides of see raises and collapses. Similarly the mental peaks are life’s alternating joys and sorrows. The hollowness in between this is the indifference or boredom. These are the three different mental states.

By looking at the face of a person on can judge the mental sate of a man. Whose face registers happiness what has made him happy? If his desire is fulfilled and satisfied he got a raise. The fulfilled desire gives him happiness and joy.

At the same time a glum faced man his expressions tells us that he in unhappy with the same depression. The desire contradicted produce happiness. The desire for health is contradicted by pain. The desire for money is contradicted by poverty and so on.

Some people are indifferent. If you ask them are you happy their answer is no. Once again if you ask why you are not happy they try to convince you with so many illogical answers knowing fully well that they are not confident that what they are answering. Because of their mental condition they are indifferent. Their soul is an intermediate hallow. That, in such neutral state of indifference

One cannot remain, indefinitely on the crests of either buoyant happiness or turbulent sorrow. Or in the dumps of boredom. The competing dualities the ordinary being is tossed up and down rising on a wave or joy, sinking in to the troughs of indifferences and then getting tumbled by a wave of sorrow. They little know any thing beyond these states of consciousness to be jostled about is to surrender free will to a seemingly capricious destiny.

If the mind is even then one lives successfully and satisfactorily. This can be attained only by concentration mastery and mental faculties. Even most terrible sorrow can be healed by Time. Nothing is gained by relieving it every day. Sorrowing for some one who is gone does not help him or yourself, nor does it change the sad fact. Making yourself miserable by nurturing an inferiority complex or punishing your self for the mistakes you committed earlier or failures you have faced will not get you any where: it paralyzes your mental faculties. Never allow yourself to get in to negative mental ruts. And do not be bored with life either. That is very uncomfortable state. It slowly stews you. Do not bake your self and your potentialities in the oven of indifference.

The state of peace – mind beyond miseries and pleasures.

The state of peace – mind beyond miseries and pleasures.

Beyond the first three conditions of mind- happiness, sorrow and indifference- is the state of peace. Very few people reach that plane. Those who have money and health and satisfying relationships – everything is they really need or want may say: I am not happy or unhappy or indifferent. I am contended; I am peaceful. After a period of turbulence, such a condition is welcome. But if for a long time one has peace that is merely the absence of joy and sorrow, he will say, Please knock me on the head so that I feel that I am still alive. Such peace, being a negative state in which excitation has been neutralized is not lastingly satisfying.

Now let us come to the positive aspect, the last or fifth state of consciousness: The attainment of ever new joy. That state is found only by contacting God in deep meditation, through the practice of such techniques as those given by the masters of India. That all fulfilling joy will never grow stale. How to describe it? if for ten days if you are not allowed to sleep and after that you are allowed to sleep the joy you feel at that moment, compounded a million times over would not begin to express the joy that I am speaking about. Jesus and other divine ones spoke of that joy.

Saints like Saint Francis and Sri Chaitanya knew that joy. Why else would saints deprive themselves of material gain, except that they found something greater? This path of self realization does tell you case aside everything of this world but it does urge you to give lesser, obstructing things for the superior, lastingly fulfilling true joy in life.

The time has come for you to know and understand the purpose of religion: how to contact that supernal joy, which is God, the great eternal comforter. If you can find that joy ad if you can retain that joy all the time, no matter what happens to your life, you will stand unshaken amidst the crash of breaking worlds.

So that is the first law of retaining youth: You must have a happy state of mind, a state that is untouched by the events of lie. In that joy, not even death can shake you. How could Jesus say, in the face of crucifixion? “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do “unless he had that inner joy which even the tortures of the flesh could not take from him? In that steadfast mental foundation, he could, with his dying breath express love for those who were the instruments of the death of his body. That is the invulnerable state you must strive to cultivate.

youth,mind,body and soul

Your mind, body and soul

Every body wants to be youthful for ever. This not at present but in the earlier days also people wanted to be young and tried various means to be young.

People fee that if they are young, then they can enjoy the earthly pleasures which are indeed give temporary pleasures. But one should understand what youth is? Now a day we are seeing that the young and old are trying to seek a fountain of youth without knowing why god has given you youth? All the young people are not necessarily young and all old people are necessarily old. In contrast some young are dull; behave little lifeless periods that are as good as walking dead. But some old people keep themselves trickle down from their souls in to their bodies and faces. Their very life blood throbs with joy of being. We see so many people are depressed for the reasons not known to them selves. Their stoic answer is they are depressed, because they did not get what they wanted to get. They might have put in lot of hard work to achieve their goal. But they might have not got it. The reason could be they did not work in the right direction in which they are supposed to work. So their results are also so poor…. Thy are negative in mind, critical, moody and disparate. There is no excuse for the wrong state of mind. One should develop and cultivate a habit of being positive minded, cheerful, smiling and vibrant in spite of their age. So to do so they should practice how to be mentally youth what comes from the core of your being?

Thus youth has no connection with body it is only mind perception. It is the state of mind and expression of that state of body, mind and soul in which one feels the zenith of joy and power. If you want to, you can acme retain that state indefinitely. Conversely by carelessness you can loose it very easily.

Let me start my approach what youth is with the mental stand point. The system controller is mind, which controls the body which itself is designated by their mind. We are the sum total of the consciousness. We ourselves have created over a period of incarnations. It is the mind, the supreme force that governs all voluntary and involuntary activities. Of this bodily factory with its multifarious outputs.

I will discuss about the different states of the mind in my next blog.

Algorithms on Bhagavathgita with Bala Tripura Sundari

OM SRI BALA TRIPURA SUNDRYI NAMAH

Bhagavat Gita is a treatise of both spiritual and practical life of all beings living in this great world. It shows not only the practical application of spiritual principles but also shows the path how deeply to realize not only for YOGIS but also to us.

The great Bhagavat Gita not only represents the great battle of Mahabharata, but also several battles to be fought by the beings between good and bad, or evils, spirit and matters, soul and body, life and death, knowledge and ignorance, health and deceases, self control and temptations so on and so forth.

When Bhagavat Gita read as an Algorithm, the great sage Vedavyasa introduces in his famous work, the great epic Mahabharata, the basic principles of science of yoga and describes how the yogi suffers for his spiritual attainment to lead a path to KAIVALYA oneness with God.

The sages emphasizes that the key of Bhgavat Gita is to open any chapter with calm inner perception, unbiased, read any passage, understand both is substance and essence.

The great Bhgavat Gita starts with a question WHAT DID THEY DO? Please understand the question. The first stanza reads as

“The blind king Dhritarashtra enquires Sanjaya “WHAT DID THEY” when Kurus and Pandavas assembled on the great battle field of Kurukshetra, eager to fight and what is the out come?

The blind king Dhritarashtra (who is the symbol of blind mind) enquires the honest Sanjaya, that what his own sons, the Kurus (Wicked in nature, having all sense tendencies, indiscriminate) and the sons of his brother Pandu (pure discriminate tendency) assembled on the plains of Kurukshetra (The bodily field) who are eager to fight, gain supremacy over the other, WHAT WAS THE OUT COME?

Metaphorically the same question is to be asked by every one self and review his daily activity, how he fought his righteous battle and how much he is succeeded to get self realization. How fairly he fought his good with bad, self control over sense indulgence, self discrimination on events, self resolution on meditation, resistance offered by mental and physical activity, deriving consciousness against ignorance, and the magnetic attraction of the lower ego-nature.

The great plains of Kurukshetra symbolizes the battle field of action in the human body both physical and mental on which all his activities take place.

The word Dharmakshetra (refers to the righteous holiness) (Thus the body, the holy field or plane is the field engaged for the battle) was the battle field arranged for the battle between the sons of Pandu who have the virtues of soul discriminative intelligence and the sons of his own (blind king) who have uncontrolled wicked activities.

Thus Dharmakshetre Kurukshetre refers to an activity of religious and spiritual duties to be attended with responsibilities and respects. Hence signifies the inner bodily field on which the spiritual action of yoga meditation taken place to attain self realization on the plane of cerebrospinal axis and its seven subtle centers of life and Divine consciousness. The war is between Buddhi (discriminative intelligence allegorically represented as Pandu, the husband of Kunti (the mother of Pandavas, having righteous principles of Nivritti, renunciation of worldly activity) and the sense conscious mind (manasa)

Metaphorically Pandu means white symbolizes for clarity on intellectual discrimination.

Manasa is allegorically represents the sensory impressions and inclinations (Dhritarashtra) which bent outwards, i.e. towards pravritti worldly enjoyment.

30-4-08

Manasa the sense mind is a subtle magnetic pole which turned outward, i.e. toward the world of matter which is constantly engaged with psychological activity which is coordinated with sensory organs.

Buddhi represents the great seat of consciousness in the spiritual cerebrospinal centers. Also conscious about truth or eternal realities. Soul consciousness or self realization.

Manasa the sense mind repels the conscious truth and engages it in the external sensory activities of the body and thus always attached with Maya.

Manasa (mind) gives coordination to the sense organs, keeps the reins of several horses of a chariot (body) which is intelligent but also blind. Because it cannot see without the help of sense organs. It receive and relay the impulses from the steeds (a high spirited riding horse)

Similarly the blind man (mind) can neither notice nor extend guidance. But merely receives the impressions from sense organs and relay the conclusions.

But if the intelligence guided and governed by Buddhi, the senses are controlled. If the same intelligence ruled by material desires the senses are wild and unruly.

Sanjaya means the one who has concurred himself. He is impartial, and unbiased. He represents the power of impartial intuitive self analysis discerning introspection. Introspection is the power of intuition by which the consciousness can watch its thoughts. It does not reason but feels, not with biased emotion but with clear, calm intuition.

Bhgavat Gita is only a part of Mahabharata. The great sage Veda Vyasa selected Sanjaya who is impartial, unbiased to narrate what is happening in the great battle field of Kurukshetra.

Here on would expect the blind king’s enquiry in the first verse, to be in the present tense. The author Vyasa purposefully had Sanjaya to narrate the Bhgavat Gita dialogue retrospectively and used past tense of the verb what DID they:? It is to be understood here that the sage Veda Vyasa wanted the students of Gita to understand that the teaching of Lord Krishna not only refer to the past history of the battle between Kurus and Pandus on the plains of Kurukshetra but the stress is on universal battles that rage in the daily mans’ life.

The timeless message of Bhgavat Gita refers to the cosmic conflict between good and evil, life a series of battles between spirit and matter, soul and body , life and death, knowledge and ignorance, death and decease, changelessness and transitoriness. Self control and temptations, discriminations and blind sense mind

The sage Veda Vyasa introduced Bhgavat Gita in his first verse with a past tense very reasonably so that ones’ introspection is being invoked to review the conflicts of the day in ones mind in order to determine the favorable or unfavorable out come.

Spiritual Hindu

Your ever lasting youth.

If you know then you will always youthful.
